These Chuck 70s are made utilizing an in-house developed upcycling process. Denim jeans that were diverted from landfill serve as the first example of Converse’s capacity to turn single source upcycled textiles into sneakers.

As Converse turns discarded materials into the world’s most iconic and loved sneaker, it’ll still be your favourite shoe— whether fresh from the box or worn into perfection.

And the best part is yet to come.

Because every Converse Renew Denim Chuck 70 is created using upcycled denim from hand-selected pairs of jeans, every pair is completely unique. Used jeans have been given a second life as they are cut and constructed into one-of-a-kind Chucks. The result is a denim sneaker with a storied past, and a bright future.
